Reverse description The reverse repeats the Chola dynastic emblem, featuring a seated tiger in profile surmounted by a royal parasol. A pair of fish occupies the left field adjacent to the tiger device. A proto-Nagari legend appears in the lower field, mirroring the obverse inscription. The repetition of the dynastic emblem on both faces is a hallmark of Chola gold kahavanu coinage of this period.
