| Beschrijving keerzijde | Arabic legend in bold Naskh script arranged in two to three lines across the field, reading 'zarb hazrat Dihli' (Struck at the Seat of Delhi), denoting the mint city. The inscription occupies nearly the entire flan, which is characteristically irregular and slightly flan-cracked at the edges, as is common for hammered copper jitals of this period. No decorative borders or subsidiary symbols are visible. The die workmanship reflects the robust, utilitarian style associated with the early coinage of the Delhi Sultanate under Iltutmish. |
