| Opis rewersu | The reverse bears a multi-line Nagari (Devanagari) inscription arranged across the field in three registers, reading Sri MaHa Mad Kar Rluk, a phonetic rendering in Nagari script of the ruler's name and title. The bold, deeply struck characters fill the flan nearly to the edge, with additional Nagari characters visible in the outer border. This bilingual coinage reflects the Qarlughid practice of combining Islamic and Indic epigraphic traditions to serve a mixed population. |
