Obverse description Crude depiction of a horseman in the later Kangra style, rendered in low relief on a dumpy fabric flan. The rider faces right, seated upon a horse shown in profile, with the figure and mount rendered in a schematic, abbreviated manner characteristic of late medieval Indian copper coinage. The overall design reflects the degenerate artistic tradition of the Kangra mint series.
