Reverse description The reverse field carries a fragmentary Arabic legend in the hammered style, reading 'ibn al-Sultan' (son of the Sultan), a formulaic dynastic attribution referencing the ruler's lineage. The inscription is set without a central frame, distributed across the flan in the cursive Naskh-derived hand typical of late 13th-century Delhi Sultanate coinage. The flan is irregular and the strike is uneven, consistent with hand-hammered billon production of this period.
