Obverse description Crude hammered design featuring a stylized equestrian figure, likely a seated or standing deity or ruler, rendered in a highly schematic manner typical of medieval Indian hill-state coinage. The figure occupies the central field, with attendant symbols or decorative elements flanking the main motif. The flan is irregular and thick, consistent with the hand-struck hammered technique employed by the Kangra kingdom. Surface detail is worn and granular, reflecting heavy circulation and the relatively low-relief die work characteristic of jital coinage of the region.
