| 背面描述 | Reverse displays a cavalier type motif, depicting a mounted horseman in a highly stylised and schematic rendering, a design tradition ultimately derived from earlier Indo-Scythian prototypes and perpetuated through successive Kangra dynastic issues. The rider appears in profile, seated upon a horse striding to the right, with limbs rendered as elongated strokes. Sharada script characters appear in the peripheral field. The overall execution is bold but crude, typical of the debased hammered coinage of the Kangra hill chiefs of the mid-fourteenth century. |
