| Obverse description | A humped bull (nandi) depicted in profile facing left occupies the central field, rendered in the bold, stylized manner characteristic of early Delhi Sultanate copper coinage. The bull is shown with pronounced hump and angular limbs typical of the hammered die-struck tradition inherited from the Chahamana predecessors. A Nagari legend encircles the central device, reading the royal epithet of the issuing sultan. The flan is irregular and slightly cupped, consistent with hammered copper jitals of this period. |
