备注

The Bank of China's 1940 small-denomination issues were produced during one of the most administratively fractured periods in Chinese monetary history — the nationalist government had relocated to Chongqing, and the Bank of China was simultaneously operating under wartime restrictions while competing with Japanese puppet bank currencies flooding occupied territories. Low-denomination notes like this one were workhorses of daily transaction in Free China, and most surviving examples show it.

Pick 82 is among the more common of the wartime small notes, though the series has generated persistent attribution confusion due to overlapping issue authorities and regional overprints applied at distribution points rather than at the printer.
