Obverse description The obverse is printed in red on a light ground, with a central vignette of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, rendered in fine intaglio line work, set against a stylized landscape with trees and a broad staircase approach. The bank title 行銀國中 appears at the top in Chinese characters, flanked by ornamental corner devices, with the denomination 壹角 in a decorative cartouche to the left of the vignette. A serial number appears in the upper centre field, and additional Chinese text including branch authorization characters is printed in the lower left.
