Reverse description A floriated cross of lilies (croix fleurdelisée) centered in the field, formed by four ornate fleurs-de-lis arranged crosswise around a central quatrefoil boss, all in high hammered relief. The arms of the cross extend nearly to the inner beaded circle, with the quatrefoil rosette at the center lending an elegant Gothic character to the composition. The field is otherwise plain, and the design is enclosed within a beaded inner border. The circumferential legend, divided by the terminals of the cross, runs between the inner and outer beaded borders in clear Roman lettering.
