| Reverse description | The heraldic lion of Jülich displayed on a central shield occupies the middle of the field, with four surrounding shields arranged in a cross formation bearing the arms of the archbishoprics of Mainz, Trier, and Cologne, and the Palatinate respectively. The shields are rendered in a simplified, bold style characteristic of hammered bracteate-type coinage. A beaded border runs along the coin's periphery. The composition reflects the political associations of the Rhenish electoral circle during the early fifteenth century. |
