Obverse description A plain inner circle encloses a heraldic shield bearing the arms of the Archbishopric of Trier: a plain cross occupying the dexter and base of the shield, with a six-pointed star in the upper sinister canton. The shield is rendered in a simple, bold style characteristic of late medieval hammered bracteate coinage. No legend or inscription is present. The design is contained within a double or raised border at the coin's periphery.

Reverse description Uniface issue struck in bracteate style; the reverse presents a flat, incuse mirror impression of the obverse design with no independent devices, legends, or inscriptions, consistent with the thin billon heller coinage of the Rhenish archbishoprics in the early fifteenth century.
