附加信息

Henneberg-Schleusingen had been partitioned among several Saxon ducal lines since 1583, and by the early eighteenth century the county existed as a largely administrative relic governed jointly by its co-inheritors. Moritz Wilhelm, Duke of Saxe-Zeitz, held his share of the territory until his line extinguished with his death in 1718 — at which point Henneberg coinage ceased entirely, absorbed into the broader Saxon monetary orbit.

The thirteen-year emission window and the coin's negligible copper weight kept production volumes low, which accounts for its relative obscurity in most collections outside the Merse reference.
