Obverse description The divided date is arranged around the central arms of Archbishop Markus Sittikus von Hohenems, with '16' above, '1' to the left, and '3' to '6' to the right, all contained within a double rhombus border. The shield displays the episcopal coat of arms in low relief typical of hammered billon coinage of the period. The double rhombus frame is formed by two overlapping lozenge outlines, a characteristic design element of early seventeenth-century Salzburg hellers.
