| Popis líce | Central field displays a crowned heraldic shield bearing the arms of the Bishopric of Würzburg — a rampant lion to the left, flanked by the initials or devices of Bishop Lorenz von Bibra. The crown surmounting the shield is rendered in a bold, simplified Gothic style characteristic of late-medieval hammered coinage. The surrounding border is formed by a ring of short radial strokes or pellets, typical of Franconian heller production of the period. The strike is moderately uneven, consistent with hand-hammered technique on an irregular flan. No legend is present on this face. |
