| Obverse description | Within a beaded or linear inner circle, an open hand (the episcopal symbol of blessing) is depicted between a crozier to the left and the Augsburg pinecone to the right. The design is rendered in low relief typical of hammered bracteate-style pfennig coinage of the early sixteenth century, with no surrounding legend. The flan is irregular and slightly squared at the edges. |
