Reverse description The reverse bears a bold multiline legend arranged across the field in four lines, reading the denomination and designation of the coin as subsidiary coinage. Above the central inscription, a small numeral '1' is flanked by two six-pointed stars. The inscription fills nearly the entire field in large, slightly crude lettering characteristic of minor copper issues. A milled border frames the entire reverse. The date appears in the exergual line at the bottom of the inscription.
