Obverse description Central field dominated by the interlaced cursive monogram EAC (for Ernst August Constantin) rendered in an elaborate Baroque script, surmounted by a ducal crown. The monogram fills the majority of the flan with graceful interlocking strokes, with no peripheral legend. The design is executed in low relief on a plain field.
