| Obverse description | Central field features the quartered arms of Henneberg-Meiningen, displaying the characteristic Henneberg hen in one quarter and the Saxon barry with rautenkranz in the others, all within an ornate escutcheon. The shield is surmounted by a princely crown and flanked by decorative mantling or supporters on either side. The overall heraldic composition is rendered in low relief typical of late 17th-century German minor copper coinage. The flan is slightly irregular, characteristic of the period's production standards. |

| Reverse description | The reverse bears a four-line Latin inscription in the field, stating the denomination, issuing authority, and date of issue. The numeral '1' appears at the top, followed by 'HELLER' on the second line, 'HEN.MEIN' abbreviated for Henneberg-Meiningen on the third line, and the date '1694' at the base. A small cross or ornament appears above the numeral. The inscription is surrounded by a milled border, lending a neat frame to the otherwise plain typographic design typical of contemporary German Heller coinage. |
