正面描述 Central field depicts the Bamberg imperial orb (Reichsapfel), shown as a crowned lion rampant holding a sceptre, a traditional heraldic device associated with the Prince-Bishopric of Bamberg. The design is contained within a plain inner circle, itself surrounded by a finely executed beaded border running along the coin's full circumference. The relief is in low to medium execution consistent with minor copper coinage of the late Holy Roman Empire period. No legend appears on this face, the heraldic device serving as the sole identifying element.

附加信息

Adam Friedrich von Seinsheim governed Bamberg — and simultaneously Würzburg — from 1757 until his death in 1779, one of the last prince-bishops to hold both sees concurrently. The heller by this period was already a denomination in slow institutional decline, its purchasing power so minimal that many German territories had abandoned it entirely. Bamberg kept issuing them largely out of administrative inertia, supplying small change to a principality that would be secularized and absorbed into Bavaria within two decades of this coin's last striking.
