| Obverse description | Central field bears the crowned eagle of Teschen within a beaded inner circle, rendered in the crude hammered style characteristic of mid-17th century Silesian minor coinage. The eagle is depicted with spread wings and displayed posture, its body filled with heraldic detail. A beaded border frames the inner device, with the peripheral legend OBOLVS PRINCIPA TES running around the circumference in Latin capital letters, abbreviated to fit the small flan. The overall strike is irregular, consistent with hand-hammered production on a roughly shaped planchet. |
