Obverse description Gothic letter N in bold relief, flanked by a raised dot to each side, all set within a plain field on this small hammered billon issue. The letterform is characteristic of late medieval German municipal coinage, with pronounced serifs and a deeply struck central element. The flan is irregular in outline, as typical of hand-struck Heller coinage of the period.
