Reverse description A rampant lion passant within a beaded inner circle, facing left with tail raised, rendered in the characteristic Bohemian heraldic style. The surrounding outer legend, separated by a star-shaped ornament, invokes King Louis II of Bohemia and Hungary. The field retains the characteristic irregular hammer-struck surface typical of early sixteenth-century thalers.
