Obverse description Full-length figure of St. Joachim as a pilgrim, facing, flanked by the initials S and I (for Sanctus Ioachimus) with the date divided on either side. Above the saint, a composite quartered shield bearing the arms of Weisskirchen in the first and fourth quarters and Schlick in the second and third, with the arms of Bassano at the center, the whole divided by a lion with a column; the heraldic composition interrupts the circumferential legend below. The legend, commencing at 12 o'clock, reads for 'Argento Dominorum Slickorum Stefanus Et 7 Fratres Comes Dominus Bassani,' with the abbreviation M in COM inscribed within the letter O. A star mintmark at the top identifies the mintmaster Hans Weizelmann.
