Obverse description A broad red-brown border frames a central white-to-yellow panel bearing the principal inscriptions. A portrait vignette of Queen Wilhelmina appears to the left of centre, while the numeral denomination is repeated in the upper-right and lower-right corners of the note. The overall layout is typographic in character, with the legends arranged in a formal, letterpress composition across the face.
