Beschrijving voorzijde	Brown on uncoloured paper. The face is dominated by the large serif legend 'ZILVERBON' across the centre, above the denomination '1.00' in large numerals, all set within an overall guilloche border pattern with corner value tablets reading '1.00'. The issuer name 'SURINAME' appears at the top within a decorative panel, with the series letter and serial number in red manuscript at upper right. Two manuscript signatures of acting officials appear below the registration date of 2 February 1920, with the legal tender notice at the foot.
Opschrift voorzijde	SURINAME ZILVERBON GROOT EEN GULDEN Wordt ter betaling aangenomen door de Surinaamsche Bank en aan alle Landskantoren. Inwisselbaar in zilver na aankondiging. Geregistreerd, 2 Februari 1920. De wnd. Administrateur van Financiën, De wnd. Gouverneur van Suriname, WETTIG BETAALMIDDEL Namaak of vervalsching is strafbaar met gevangenisstraf van ten hoogste tien jaren.
