Obverse description Armored and draped bust of Philipp Wilhelm right, wearing elaborate curled periwig and Order of the Golden Fleece at chest, the date divided by the bust on either side. The encircling Latin legend reads the titles of the Elector Palatine, interrupted at top by the bust. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the armor and lace cravat.
