Reverse description Full-length figure of Saint Andrew, patron saint of Burgundy, standing facing, robed, holding a large saltire cross in his right hand and an open book in his left. The saint is depicted in a stylized, elongated manner consistent with Netherlandish late-medieval die engraving. A Latin devotional legend encircles the figure, with the last two digits of the year of issue appearing at the conclusion of the reverse inscription. The overall composition reflects the standard reverse type used on Habsburg Netherlands gold gulden coinage of this period.
