Obverse description Crowned quartered shield of arms of Mecklenburg-Güstrow displayed centrally in the field, featuring the characteristic bull's head of Mecklenburg alongside additional dynastic quarterings. The crowned escutcheon is rendered in high relief with fine heraldic detail. A continuous Latin legend surrounds the shield, reading the titles of Duke Gustav Adolphus, running along the inner edge of a beaded border. The date appears partially integrated into the legend area.
