Reverse description The Dutch royal coat of arms, featuring a rampant lion holding a sword and bundle of arrows on a shield, surmounted by the Dutch royal crown, occupies the central field. The date 1980 is divided across the upper field, flanked to either side of the crown, with '19' to the left and '80' to the right. The inscription 'NEDERLAND' appears vertically along the left rim and '1 GULDEN' vertically along the right rim. The design is executed in a clean, classically engraved style typical of the Royal Dutch Mint.
