| Obverse description | Central shield bearing the rampant lion of the Netherlands, holding a sword and a bundle of arrows, displayed on a crowned coat of arms within a beaded border. The denomination '1 GL.' is inscribed in the field to either side of the shield. The circumferential legend reads 'MO : ARG : ORD : FŒD : BELG : WESTF :' in Latin, identifying this as a silver coin of the Federated Belgian Orders of West Friesland. The shield is surmounted by an ornate crown with decorative flourishes, rendered in fine milled relief. |
