| Obverse description | Draped bust of Albert Ernest I facing right, wearing a long curled periwig in the late Baroque fashion. A small oval escutcheon bearing the Öttingen arms with the date is positioned to the right of the bust, within the field. The circular Latin legend runs along the periphery, interrupted by a small star ornament at the top, and is separated from the toothed border by an inner circle. |
