| Reverse description | The reverse is enclosed within a fine guilloche rectangular border with decorative corner ornaments and a repeating geometric pattern along all four edges. A large central oval vignette in pale rose contains the authorization text in Gothic script, stating that the loan of fl. 100,000 was approved by the Royal Government of the Palatinate on 23 July and by the Kaiserslautern City Council on 28 July 1870, guaranteed by the assets of the city. The abbreviated currency notation "1 fl. südd. Währ." appears at the top and bottom margins outside the central oval. |
