备注

The 1827 Curaçao gulden is among the earliest paper money issues traceable to the Dutch Caribbean. At the time, Curaçao operated under a restored Dutch colonial administration — Britain had returned the island in 1816 after occupying it during the Napoleonic period — and the local economy relied heavily on trade credit and specie, making paper instruments both practical and contentious.

Plomp catalogues this as PLNA1.2, suggesting at least a second variant within the earliest known series, though surviving examples are extremely rare and documentation on the original issuing authority remains fragmentary.
