| Descrizione del rovescio | Four crowned cruciform shields bearing the arms of England, Scotland, France, and Hanover, arranged in a saltire formation with the Garter star occupying the central escutcheon. Long crossed sceptres, tipped with national emblems — the rose, thistle, fleur-de-lis, and horse of Hanover — fill the angles between the shields. The divided regnal year appears in the upper angles flanking the uppermost shield, while the encircling Latin electoral title legend runs continuously around the periphery. |
