Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of King George III facing right, rendered in the classical portrait style typical of early 19th-century British colonial coinage. The king's hair is styled in loose curls beneath the laurel wreath, with a truncated shoulder visible at the base of the effigy. The circumferential legend reads GEORGIVS III DEI GRATIA in Roman capitals, distributed evenly around the field. A fine toothed border frames the entire obverse design.
