1 Guaraní 35th Anniversary of BCP building

The Banco Central del Paraguay moved into its current headquarters in Asunción in 1984, a building whose construction was tied to the economic modernization ambitions of the Stroessner regime in its later years. This commemorative marks thirty-five years of that occupancy — an unusual subject for a silver issue, celebrating institutional architecture rather than a historical event or national figure.
