Reverse description A crowned Imperial double-headed eagle displayed in the field, its two heads facing outward beneath a single Imperial crown. On the breast of the eagle appears a small escutcheon bearing the denomination numeral 1, indicating one Groten. The mintmaster's initials RDDB are arranged among the wings of the eagle. The circumferential Latin legend references Emperor Francis I and reads FRANCISC.D.G.ROM.IMP.SA.
