Obverse description Central device features the Polish crowned white eagle displayed, with wings spread wide and talons visible in the lower field, rendered in a stylized Art Deco manner. The eagle's crown and distinctive curled wing feathers are characteristic of the pre-war Polish state emblem design by Jastrzębowski. A circular legend surrounds the eagle, with the date 1939 prominently positioned at the top of the field flanked by lozenge stops. The inscription RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA runs around the periphery in Latin characters.
