| Obverse description | The left half of a bisected note printed in red and grey on a fine guilloche underprint. A large circular vignette at upper left bears the denomination '1 GROSZ' in bold letterpress, with the Polish eagle medallion to its right overprinted with a black two-line surcharge reading '500,000 MAREK POLSKICH'. The central inscription 'BILET ZDAWKOWY' runs across the note in large red capitals above the text 'WARTOŚCI 1 GROSZ', with the date 'Warszawa, dnia 28 kwietnia 1924 r.' below.
