Obverse description Central field dominated by the papal coat of arms of Pope Pius VI (Giovanni Angelo Braschi), featuring a shield divided with heraldic devices surmounted by the papal tiara and crossed keys of Saint Peter, all rendered in fine relief. The shield displays the Braschi family arms — three fleurs-de-lis above a diagonal band — flanked by elaborate baroque mantling. The papal tiara, with its three crowns, sits prominently above the keys at the apex of the composition. A circular legend in Latin runs along the coin's periphery, interrupted by small decorative stops. The entire design is enclosed within a finely milled border of small beads.
