| 正面描述 | Central field occupied by the quartered heraldic shield of the Della Rovere dynasty, surmounted by a ducal crown adorned with a crescent finial. The escutcheon displays the arms of Urbino incorporating a castle tower and other dynastic charges. The legend surrounding the shield reads F·M·II VRB·DVX·VI·ET·C·, abbreviated for Francesco Maria II, Duke of Urbino VI, et cetera. The entire design is enclosed within a rope or cable border typical of late Renaissance Italian hammered coinage. |

Francesco Maria II della Rovere ruled Urbino for half a century but died without a legitimate heir, making him the last Duke — upon his death in 1631, the duchy reverted to the Papal States under the terms of a 1624 agreement with Pope Urban VIII. The "narrow module" designation distinguishes this issue from a broader flan variant struck under the same reign, a distinction tracked in the CNI but frequently overlooked in the trade.
