| Obverse description | Crowned facing bust of Djuradj II Stracimirovic, depicted in a stylized medieval manner, occupying the central field. The ruler is shown wearing a crown and holding a shield bearing a heraldic device. The surrounding legend in uncial Latin characters reads M DE BALS-A BALSIC, arranged around the periphery of the flan.
