Obverse description Central field dominated by a large patriarchal cross with crosslets at the arm-tips, enclosed within a raised inner circle, all executed in the hammered medieval style typical of northern Italian grossi. Four crescent-shaped ornaments fill the quadrants between the cross arms within the inner circle. The surrounding annular field between the inner and outer circles is plain. The outer legend, separated by small cross patattes as dividers, reads the civic inscription referencing both Vicenza and Verona in abbreviated Latin. The flan is characteristically irregular and slightly wavy at the edge.

Reverse description Central design features a large cross with ornate crosslet or fleury terminals enclosed within a raised inner beaded or rope circle, with four crescent-shaped ornaments occupying the quadrants between the cross arms. A small six-petalled rosette appears in the lower left quadrant of the outer field as a mint or die mark. The outer legend, separated by floral stops, references Verona and Vicenza in abbreviated civic Latin. The overall design closely mirrors the obverse, a characteristic feature of this joint-authority coinage, with the flan displaying the typical irregular contour of hammered medieval silver.
