Reverse description Central field depicts the rampant Bohemian lion passant rearing to the left, crowned, with a double tail curling over its back, rendered in bold Gothic relief within a beaded inner circle. The lion displays detailed mane, claws, and bifurcated tail, characteristic of 14th-century Bohemian heraldic engraving. An outer legend in uncial Latin characters, separated by decorative stops, reads GROSSI PRAGENSES, identifying the denomination as the Prague Groschen. The design follows the standard type established under Wenceslaus II at the Prague mint, continued under John of Luxemburg.
