Obverse description Central field features the dynastic coat of arms of Moldavia, displayed on a vertically divided shield: the dexter half bears three horizontal bars, while the sinister half is charged with seven fleurs-de-lis arranged in a 3-3-1 pattern. The shield is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the circular legend in Gothic uncial script reading MVLDA+VIELSIS running between the beaded border and the coin's rim.
