| 正面描述 | Central field dominated by a large spread Hohenzollern eagle displayed, with wings outstretched and head turned to the right, rendered in bold relief typical of early sixteenth-century German hammered coinage. Joachim I became Elector of Brandenburg in 1499 at age sixteen, making this among the earliest coins struck under his authority. The Groschen type here follows the reform coinage framework being adopted across northern German territories in the wake of the Saxon Groschen tradition, issued from the Berlin mint at a moment when Brandenburg was consolidating its minting operations under the new Hohenzollern elector's direct control.
Bahrf. 109a distinguishes a die variant within this issue — worth checking against the reverse die characteristics before finalizing attribution.
