| Obverse description | Central field features a heraldic shield bearing a tamgha-like device rendered in an archaic, stylized manner. The shield is set within a beaded or rope-like inner circle. The surrounding annular field contains various ancillary marks, pellets, and control signs typical of medieval Moldavian coinage. The peripheral legend in uncial Latin characters runs around the outer margin, partially worn on this specimen. The overall style reflects the hammered Gothic tradition of 15th-century Danubian principality coinage. |

| Reverse description | Central device depicts the Moldavian auroch head facing forward, with a six-pointed star placed between the horns, a rosette to the right, and a crescent to the left — the canonical heraldic arms of the Principality of Moldavia. The design is contained within a beaded inner circle, with the surrounding field bearing the peripheral legend in uncial Latin. The entire composition is characteristic of the Type IV issue under Voivode Ilie I, with the die rendered in the hammered style common to mid-15th-century Moldavian groschen. |
