Reverse description Central field features the facing aurochs head, the principal dynastic symbol of Moldavia, with prominent curved horns surmounted by a five-pointed star within a crescent. Flanking the neck are two lozenge-shaped or eye-like ornaments, with a small rosette or floral ornament below the chin. The device is surrounded by an inner beaded border, with the circular legend in Gothic uncial characters distributed around the outer field between the beaded ring and the coin's periphery.
